The 2012 Walleye Season is Almost Here

The 2012 walleye season on Lake Erie is just 8 weeks away. Starting in April, weather permitting, we will begin fishing for walleye. This is one of the best times to fish, not only for the numbers, but also for the chance of landing that trophy walleye. Walleye fishing is good not only April through July, but sometimes right through August and September. Don’t forget the 2011 perch season was great both in size and numbers.

I won’t be doing any “Outdoor” fishing shows this year due to trying to keep the cost of a charter down for my clientle. These shows are very expensive. I encourage anyone who wants to book a charter to contact me as soon as possible either by e-mailing me at captain.dick@cinbadd.com,, or call me on my cell phone at 419-203-5202. I carry my cell phone with me at all times.

I will be contacting those of you that reserved a charter date for the 2012 season last year to see if you still want that date or if another one might be more appropriate. If you haven’t reserved your date yet then you need to call me as soon as possible to get in on the action this year.

I’m looking forward to a good year on the Lake this year. Hope to see all of you on board the CinBADD. Call me anytime.

I will be at the Indy Show starting Friday, February 18th, 2011 through Sunday, February, 27th, 2011. I’m looking forward not only to seeing all the people who have already fished with me in the past, but also meeting others who will join me this year on board the CinBADD. It’s going to be another great year of walleye fishing on Lake Erie. I’ll be in Booth #132 in the Pepsi Coliseum. Stop by and visit for a while. I’m looking forward to seeing all of you again. I’ve made a lot of wonderful friends over the years and I look forward to seeing each one of you again this year. We will run our 1st charter on April 1st when once again I will hear, “Fish On!” See you at the show.

A Smallmouth Bass on a Walleye Charter?

We're Walleye fishing, not Smallmouth Bass Fishing.

We limited out on Walleye this past Saturday, 5-1-10. The walleye averaged 3-4 lbs. and 2 were in the 6 lb. range. What a day! The fishing continues to be great. My brother landed this fantastic smallmouth bass. It weighed approximately 5 plus pounds and was just over 19 inches long. After pictures were taken, it was released back into the water, and it swam away. Still some open dates on Walleye Charters, but don’t forget the Smallmouth charters. You need to experience the action for yourself. Looking forward to meeting you on board the CinBADD.

The weather was great and the fishing was too. Had a great time fishing with friends. Available dates still open in April. You don’t want to miss this! This trip was run on this past Sunday. Fishing has been phenomenal.

Fish On! Walleye Season Has Begun!

What a great start to the season for CinBADD Charters! Captain Brad took a fine group of fishermen out today for the first casts of the 2010 season. Impressed with our guests – two of which were young adults!

Not only was it a beautiful day on the lake, but we caught our limit as well!

Back From the Columbus & Indy Shows

The Indy Show ended Sunday, February, 28th and I am home now. I enjoyed the shows very much. I got to meet a lot of wonderful people and talk to them on a one-to-one basis. The shows were very good to me and I thank everyone of you for taking the time to stop and introduce yourselves. Bookings are still coming in. I recommend you get your party together and book your charter as soon as possible to insure you get the best possible date for your trip.
